Maritim Indonesia — To celebrate Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day and the Anniversary of PT New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT1), the NPCT1 Workers’ Union rolled out a heartfelt blood donation event, fully supported by the company’s management.
Carrying the spirit of We Care, We Share, the event wasn’t just about giving blood — it was about showing real compassion and keeping strong, healthy industrial relations within NPCT1. Held right at the NPCT1 premises, the activity brought together union leaders, management, and employees from different divisions.
The energy was already buzzing from the moment registration opened. The blood donation process was handled by a professional medical team from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), making sure everything went smoothly, safely, and comfortably.

“The motto We Care, We Share isn’t just words for us — it’s something we live by. This blood donation is a real form of solidarity and care for our colleagues and the community,” said Kusnaedi, Chairman of the NPCT1 Workers’ Union.
“Caring is the energy that keeps us together. Huge thanks to everyone who gave their blood — and their kindness — today!”
Management also gave their full appreciation for the initiative.
“We’re all in for positive activities like this — ones that not only benefit our work environment but also make a real contribution to the wider community. This kind of synergy is the key to healthy industrial relations,” said Kiki Mohammad Hikmat, Director of NPCT1.
By the end of the event, 80 bags of blood were collected and handed over to PMI to help patients in need. The NPCT1 Workers’ Union hopes this kind of social activity can become a yearly tradition — keeping the values of togetherness and compassion alive.
“One drop of blood we give today could mean a lifetime for someone out there. That’s the true meaning of We Care, We Share,” Kusnaedi added, closing the event.
NPCT1 has once again shown that success isn’t just about business achievements, but also about making a real difference for humanity. (ire djafar)
